Our Credit Union (Formally Royal Oakland Credit Union) The need: Royal Oakland was a successful CU suffering from an outdated interior that didn't reflect the progressive and service oriented image they wanted to project. The solution: A full scale interior renovation of the lobby, offices, employee break room and restrooms including new flooring, wall coverings, cabinets, casework, ceilings, lighting and lobby furniture. To accomplish this area had to be done one half of the space at a time. Employees were moved into one half of the area and continued to serve the members while the construction half was gutted and rebuilt. Then both operations switched sides and the second half was completed. Features included a sweeping curved receptionist desk that flows through the teller counters and into the member's service area. Light was softened in the lobby but maintained for the teller work areas. Space was also provided for promotion of credit union service and products |
