When Ed Davenport was ready to build a new facility for his rapidly growing masonry contracting company, he turned to Haussman Construction Company. This fact is something we are very proud to announce. It says a great deal about our relationships with our sub-contractors, Davenport Masonry has worked with Haussman Construction Company as a sub-contractor in the past. This agreement between Davenport Masonry and Haussman Construction Company was sealed with a handshake. That is the type of relationship and trust both parties have for each other.

Haussman Construction Company was chosen as Construction Manager for this Design/Build project. Mechanical and Electrical systems were designed by selected sub-contractors. The project included a 22,000 square foot new building along with major sitework to utilize a large portion for exterior storage on the 5-acre parcel of land.

The structure is a masonry load bearing wall system with structural steel interior support and roof framing. The Shop Area utilizes an in-floor radiant heat system, which has received rave reviews from the employees during the cold months. The most difficult portion of the project was time frame. Ground breaking was in February 2000 and was completed in July 2000. This required a great team effort, and that was achieved through proper scheduling and partnering.
